There is a maple tree beside the road on Summer Street, close to where I live. For some reason it is far out of step with the Autumn schedule.
It is not even October yet and all its leaves have already changed to bright orange and yellow. It's gone beyond that - over half of them have already fallen to the ground. No other tree within blocks has more than a slight tinge of color at this time. I wonder why this individual preformer is so advance for the Fall show. If anyone has a good guess, please leave a comment!
